Late nights but fun nights!

Finally stopped at 1:30 this morning.  It has been a fun weekend with my two Salt Lake City grand daughters here.  Truman and Riley(Santaquin grand daughter) have been a ball of energy rolling all over the house.  Edie has been cutting out patterns, helping me to make her an apron and purse, making jewelry and yoyo's (perfect from scraps).
I have had a fun 3 days off but alais it is over.  Back to Wally World for 3 days.  See you in 3!

Our New Babies

We are madly in love with our new little helpers.

They make life more pleasurable.
Much less "adult" language while using them.

 The accuquilt GO!
Wanna see what it does?

(drum roll please)

It makes perfect circles in seconds!
and flowers...
and squares....
and triangles...
and swirlys...
and paisleys...
and anything else you can imagine.
Pure magic!

Busy Saturday!

I have been really busy sewing and creating all day.   The McDowell girls were here all day painting, making treats and giggling away.  Fun times.  I wish all the grand babies lived as close as them.

The girls have run away with the PaPa to Burger King.   Is that on my diet?  Oh well I have been good all week.

I guess it is back to work for me.  Come back soon to see what new items we have come up with.

Trading Talents - Our little booth.

This cute little craft boutique, Trading Talents, in Payson is where we sell some of our items.....go check it out.

With these aprons, who would even care what the food tastes like!

Posh's Closet

Yet another blog peddling our goods.  We have been having a great time starting this new business.   Lots of Diet Coke and late nights.  We even bought a "super awesome deluxe" machine to make life easier.  I am busy cutting out the patterns and going on Subway runs and mom is even busier yelling at me that I am wasting fabric and not cutting precisely.  She is her mother's daughter!

Our reason for starting this venture isn't because we had so much time on our hands...far from the case.  It is because I personally think it is crazy what people charge for doll clothes.  This is difficult because I love my kids American Girl dolls almost as much as they love Justin Bieber!  I want to dress them up as much as they do.  However, I can't with a clear conscience pay $25.00 for an outfit when I don't even spend that on my clothes  (what can I say....I love a sale).  Soooooo.....we started Posh's Closet.   The name derives from my famous parents, David and Victoria Beckham (get it...Posh Spice).  They are the original, not as wealthy, but just as great.

Mom also wanted to start making these cute flirty aprons that you've all seen for a reasonable price.  So we will be making all sorts of fun things.  We have our stuff for sale at a local boutique in Payson - Trading Talents - and also on Ebay.

Thanks for visiting!
