Wow! I have been a slacker!

Sorry guys for the time that has past since my last blog.  To be quite honest I haven't figured this all out completely.  I need a mentor, a class or more days in my life to learn all the options.   Anyway hope to do much much better at it.

Believe you me I haven't stop making doll clothes and as a matter of fact I have added doll beds.   I will put pictures up of the new items very soon.  If you live in Utah county or like to travel my doll beds and doll clothes are for sale at Trading Talents in Payson, Utah.

I promise to be back very soon to post pictures.

Have a great week!

It's Spring...well only on the Calender.

I am sick of the snow.  The sun keeps teasing us.  I am ready for some bright sunshine and warmer weather.

I promise I have been busy.  Just realized I haven't been on here in way to long.  I have been trying to get stay caught up on my sewing.  Will post new pics tomorrow.  Come back and check them out.

Not a Polka Dot anywhere!

Why is it when you have an order for a specific dress with a specific fabric it is no where to be found.

I spent all day going to every fabric store in Utah county looking for black polka dot fabric.  Who would have ever thought how hard it would be to find.  No worries though I now have it in hand.

How is it that in the process one spends $200 looking for 2 yds. of fabric.

It's a woman thing!

Lazy Day

I couldn't tear my way away from the coverage of the earthquake in Japan.  How horrible and terrifying for the people affected.

It goes to show we truly have no control.  Mother Nature has a mind of her own and she is all powerful.

Back to work for 4 days.  See you later.

Pray for Japan.

I promise I have an excuse...It's Suzy's fault!

Sorry Suzy!  She kept me out running around and shopping all day and she even made me eat at Cafe Rio.  She is so bad!

Ok ok so maybe it was partly my idea, but only partly.

I did get one thing done.  I have proof.

Look...

Here we go again!

3 days off!  Woo Hoo!

I have so been looking for this day.  More sewing and creating.

If your little princess doesn't have an American Girl yet.  Shame on you.  I am very impressed with the beating these dolls can take.  My grand daughters fix their hair daily and believe me they get very fancy.  Take it down and brush it out and it looks just like new.  I wish I had American Girl hair.  :-)

Ok enough of that.  Any more and they will need to pay me for my testimonials.

I'll post my next creations soon.

Have a fun few days and remember me hunched over the sewing machine.  Ok so I will have a smile on my face, but still hunched.  lol

PJ Day

Have you ever had one of those days?  Went down to the basement this morning in my PJ's and started sewing and it is now 10:55 pm and I just finished sewing and am still in my PJ's.  Don't tell anyone and they will never know.  :-)  Oh well I got a lot accomplished.

Stormy Thursday!?

It started off stormy this morning and gray ominous clouds were on the horizon all day threatening bad weather.  Alais they were just trying to bully us.  Wimps!

Went to Dillards to check out their 70% off sale.  Most of you won't be able to believe this, but me, yes me, left without a thing.  Shocker!

Can I go one rotation of days off with out dropping by Gracie Lou's and not buying some cute fabric?  I think not!  ;-)  I may subscribe to the philosophy that the one with the most fabric before they die wins.

Suzy is snazzing up some plain Jane pillow shams for the girls new beds.  Bright colored rick rack is doing the trick.  Love them.

Just my first day off so hopefully more excitement ahead.  Check back to see what we have been up to.

Finally stopped at 1:30 this morning.  It has been a fun weekend with my two Salt Lake City grand daughters here.  Truman and Riley(Santaquin grand daughter) have been a ball of energy rolling all over the house.  Edie has been cutting out patterns, helping me to make her an apron and purse, making jewelry and yoyo's (perfect from scraps).
I have had a fun 3 days off but alais it is over.  Back to Wally World for 3 days.  See you in 3!

Our New Babies

We are madly in love with our new little helpers.

They make life more pleasurable.
Much less "adult" language while using them.

 The accuquilt GO!
Wanna see what it does?

(drum roll please)

It makes perfect circles in seconds!
and flowers...
and squares....
and triangles...
and swirlys...
and paisleys...
and anything else you can imagine.
Pure magic!

Busy Saturday!

I have been really busy sewing and creating all day.   The McDowell girls were here all day painting, making treats and giggling away.  Fun times.  I wish all the grand babies lived as close as them.

The girls have run away with the PaPa to Burger King.   Is that on my diet?  Oh well I have been good all week.

I guess it is back to work for me.  Come back soon to see what new items we have come up with.

Trading Talents - Our little booth.

This cute little craft boutique, Trading Talents, in Payson is where we sell some of our items.....go check it out.
